The Grenant Canyon | Presentation
The Grenant canyon is located in the Chartreuse massif near the Aiguebelette lake. It is at the crossroads between Lyon, Grenoble, and Chambéry. The Grenant canyon features jumps of up to 7 meters (for the most adventurous), abseiling under a waterfall measuring about 10 meters, and great natural water slides. Beginners can avoid the jumps by abseiling down them, while those who are more experienced can enjoy everything the canyon has to offer.
Canyoning in the Grenant is great as a half-day activity surrounded by beautiful woodland.
Plan of the day - The Grenant Canyon
You meet up with the instructor at La Bridoire near the Aiguebelette lake. This is where you will park upon arrival. Your guide will give you all the equipment you need. Then, it will be time to take a shuttle to the start of the Grenant canyon, where your 2-3 hour adventure begins.

Canyoning in the Grenant is suitable for everyone provided you can swim and are physically fit enough to spend two and a half hours in water.
